Personal Log, Paran th'Daras, [[Night of Arrival on Minoru]]

The nightmares are getting worse again. This time, I was one of the Jem'Hadar. Not sure if it's better that way. At least I didn't get a knife in my guts in this dream. What was is that the goddamn head-shrinker back on Andoria Prime had said? Oh yeah, "I need to work through my issues". I don't have any issues that getting back to work won't fix. Anyways, he cleared me for duty, so I mustn't be all that messed up.

Now, Starfleet's given me command of marines and a new ship to carry them. I'm glad.

I met the captain, seems like he's up to the challenge. Though I'm told that the captain's actually older than he looks, I still can't believe how young most of the officers are. Guess that's aggressive fleet expansion working in the favor of the young.

Hope all those young bucks live up to expectation when everything hits the fan. No sense worrying about that though. I'll make sure that my marines are ready for action when the time comes. We'll get the job done, we always do.

I just really hope that I don't run into any more malevolently-intelligent, space-borne fungus. The last time that happened, we had to burn it out of the lower decks with modified flamethrowers. I still can't eat mushrooms and I really have no desire to engage in hand-to-tendril combat with something that can grow extra limbs on command. Well, at least it was better than getting knocked around by a spacial anomaly. At least I could hit the fungus back.

Ugh, too many scars. I finally got my antennae grown back like I like them. I'd really like to keep this pair for a while.
